I wonder how many streams
is too many streams
Excepting flood stage
what is the maximum
confluence
of streams
Because
we humans
are not smarter
than nature
and yet
we try to support
multiple inputs,
audio video sensual,
all at once
It is no wonder
our consciousness
shuts down
zones out
is washed away

I can’t. Literally! I have to remove myself from loud spaces (including with my family) because it’s too overwhelming – never mind forming a thought!

Ugh I know! I was anti-social media forever but my husband suggested I start publishing my poetry on IG, which I love, but I can only do it from my desktop with something called “News Feed Eradicator” turned on so I don’t see any of the lunacy.
Glad to know there’s a fellow empath out there that can’d do all this noise!!
