Of course the sky is apocalyptic this week
an orange hue signaling a climate change
both here
and abroad
A shift in the very air we breathe
New and different and unsettling all around us
A golden glow lit up a heart etched in tree bark,
but it only looked so beautiful
because the world is on fire.
