Sing Low

Though my preschooler isn’t here,
I’m tempted to sing nursery rhymes.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

But even if the sun blared bright through my windows,
I would be low.

  1. Sorry your outlook is dark 😦

Funny anecdote, my oldest is 26 and I still burst into singing nursery rhymes, the way SHE used to sing them when she was 3. Even funnier, if she’s around, she’ll join in. True story

I love that not only do you sing them as she used to, but SHE does! Ha! That thought makes me less low! Thank you 🙂

  2. sorry to hear you’re having one of those days

it rained for nearly twenty four hours here (very unusual) and this morning, because I could, I ended up going back to bed for about an hour … I don’t usually wake up from sleeping through the night, only to take a nap, but it seemed appropriate today

How glorious that you had the opportunity to do that on such a miserable day!
