Laundry List

Poetry recitals, preschool sing-a-longs,
spring picnics, slumber parties, school vacation,
First Communions, community events, social commitments.

With so much fun to be had,
how can one have any fun at all?

Just looking at the list wears me out –
and I haven’t even thought of doing the laundry yet.

Good thing the laundry looks happy - because he's going to be there for awhile.

  1. We are all in the same boat! I stopped making lists because they are too long! I am looking forward to 1st Communion though- we did a banner workshop this past weekend and my mother-in-law is coming in from Italy for the big event.

That’s wonderful! True, we can’t lose the meaning of such special occasions in the tumult. Enjoy your child’s special day and your mother-in-law’s visit. Blessings!
