Portal

It is the opening that calls to us:

the doorway,

the gap in the stonewall,

the bend in the road that beckons.

The possibility, the new chance

For discovery, excitement, beauty,

the unknown –

but in a wholly rosy glow on the horizon

And we step through

Standard

Do you think more people don’t take them than do? I suppose that’s right. It takes a lot of courage to overcome the fear associated with risks/chances.

      • Yes I do. When you consider social factors such as the pressure people conform to to try and follow crowds it’s no wonder people don’t take the biggest chance of all which is simpy to be yourself.

      • Very. I just wish I could just shake people and say wake up. Stop dreaming of this ideal world where your perfect and just embrace yourself don’t hang around waiting for acceptance because sadly form many that will never come.

I love your line in response! ‘line lacking a period’ – you know how I love alliteration! Thank you for your kind praise!
